This page describes what data we handle when you request the free audit, open a protected report link, or simply use this site — what we use it for, and what you can do about it. We keep it short, because we ask for little.
Data controller

What we collect
The free-audit form: your website URL, brand name, category description, email address, and the optional fields (region, audience segments, test prompts). Protected report links (/r/…): only a view count and the time of the last view — we build no visitor profile. Abuse protection: a hash of the requesting IP address and short-lived daily counters (never the IP itself). Operator accounts exist only for our own staff.
What we use it for — and on what legal basis
Running your audit and delivering the result report by email is done to fulfil your request (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)). The related follow-up emails rest on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — you can unsubscribe from every email at any time. Abuse protection and the security of the service are our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)). We never sell your data or share it with advertisers.
Who processes it
To run the audit, the brand data you provide is sent to AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Perplexity — depending on which engines we measure); they may process it outside the EU, in which case EU-approved safeguards apply (the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses). Our database runs on Neon (EU, Frankfurt), the application on Railway's cloud, and email is sent via Resend. If bot protection is enabled on the form, Cloudflare (Turnstile) checks that you are human.
How long we keep it
We keep the audit result and the data you provided for as long as needed to provide the service; on a deletion request we remove the data attributable to you. Protected report links expire on their own after 90 days of inactivity. The daily abuse-protection counters are short-lived.
Cookies
We only set cookies that are strictly necessary for the service to work — no analytics and no advertising cookies. The full list and details: Cookie policy →
Your rights
You can request access, rectification or erasure of your data, restriction of processing, or data portability, and you can object to processing — write to hello@avestudio.pro and we'll handle it. If you believe we handle your data improperly, you can lodge a complaint with the Hungarian data-protection authority (NAIH — Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság, naih.hu) or turn to a court.
